Some sad news coming out of the pro wrestling world.

Legendary pro wrestler and WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall, who performed under the moniker of ‘Razor Ramon’, has died. He was 63.

Hall was hospitalized after falling and breaking his hip earlier this month. Shortly after undergoing surgery to repair the injury, he suffered three heart attacks due to a blood clot and was eventually put on life support. He was pronounced dead just days later after being take off life support.

He was known to wrestling fans as the founding member of the legendary New World Order faction, alongside  of “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash. This led into the Attitude Era of wrestling, which is widely considered the most popular era in WWE history.

Nash, who was a longtime friend of Hall’s, will always remember him for what he was like outside the wrestling ring.

“Scott always felt he wasn’t worthy of the afterlife. Well God please have some gold-plated toothpicks for my brother. My life was enriched with his take on life. He wasn’t perfect but as he always said ‘The last perfect person to walk the planet they nailed to a cross.’ As we prepare for life without him just remember there goes a great guy you ain’t going to see another one like him again. See Ya down the road Scott. I couldn’t love a human being any more than I do you.”

Hall’s long history of drug abuse and alcoholism contributed greatly to the health issues that plagued in the final years of his life.

He was survived by his two children, pro wrestler Cody Taylor (born 1991) and daughter Cassidy Lee (born 1995).
