Saints star Alvin Kamara arrested on battery charge while in Las Vegas for Pro Bowl

What happens in Vegas apparently doesn’t stay in Vegas.

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara was arrested by Las Vegas police on a battery charge resulting in substantial bodily harm after allegedly injuring someone during a physical altercation at a nightclub the night before the Pro Bowl.

The 26-year old, who ended up playing in the Pro Bowl and recorded four catches for 23 yards, was taken into custody and booked at the Clark County Detention Center shortly after representing the NFC on the field on Sunday night.

According to reports, the victim was taken to the hospital due to the injuries. No specifics about the incidents have been released to the public.

His bail is set at $5,000, and he has a court hearing scheduled this week.
