Longtime Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was all but certain he would be moving on from the team. He felt like the writing was on the wall and it was time for a fresh start elsewhere. But somehow, and someway, things didn’t work out as expected.

Despite all the offseason drama surrounding Rodgers and the Packers’ front office, the two sides have agreed to set their differences aside and give it one last go in 2021.

“Last year at this time, I was looking at the season as my last year in Green Bay” said Rodgers.

He realizes he needs to go into the season with the same mindset he had in 2020. It seems to be a recipe for success.

“Last year, I need to look at the year that way for perspective…Just to enjoy all the little things that I’ve been able to be a part of over the last 15-plus years at the time. Helped me have a great season, mentally, quality-of-life-wise, happiness-wise. And I had so much fun”.

The 37-year old, who was selected 24th overall in the 2005 NFL Draft, has won a Super Bowl title, Super Bowl MVP, three NFL MVP’s, and has been a three-time first team all pro, three-time NFL passer rating leader, two-time NFL passing touchdown leader and nine-time Pro Bowler throughout his 16 seasons in the NFL and with the organization.
