Another game, another viewership record north of the border.

One thing we are finding out this NBA Finals is that basketball fever has taken over the country of Canada.

According to a report, Toronto Raptors’ Game 2 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Sunday had an average audience of 4.3 million across Canadian television networks TSN, CTV, and Quebec-based RD2. It peaked with close to 6 million viewers during the final moments of the contest.

This sets the record for the most watched NBA game in Canadian history, beating out the 3.3 million record set in Game 1 earlier in the week.

We will see if the pattern continues with the series heading to the Oracle Arena in Oakland for Game 3 on Wednesday.

The series is tied 1-1.
