The Cleveland Cavaliers made a significant move to improve their depth and offensive production just days before the NBA’s Trade Deadline.

The team announced on Sunday that they have acquired veteran guard Caris LeVert along with a 2022 second-round pick (via Miami Heat) from the Indiana Pacers in exchange for the expiring contract of point guard Ricky Rubio (who is out for the rest of the season with a Torn ACL), a lottery-protected 2022 first-round draft pick, a 2022 second-round draft pick (via Houston Rockets) and a 2027 second round draft pick (via Utah Jazz).

LeVert, 27, was initially acquired by the Pacers in a trade back in Janaury 2021. He has averaged 18.7 points, 4.4 assists, and 3.8 rebounds through 39 games this season.
