Things are going from bad to worse for the Ottawa Senators.

After dealing with a prolonged COVID-19 outbreak that caused them to postpone some games, the team has now learned they will be without one of their defenseman for the next while.

The Senators confirm that veteran winger Josh Browns will be out 4-6 weeks after sustaining an upper body injury during their 7-5 loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Monday.

The 27-year old has yet to record a point and has posted a minus-5 rating in 13 games this season.
