Flames ink RFA winger Matthew Tkachuk to three-year bridge deal

Another RFA is officially off the market.

The Calgary Flames announced Wednesday that they have signed winger Matthew Tkachuk to a three-year, $21 million bridge contract worth an annual average value of $7 million.

The 21-year old, who was selected sixth overall in the 2016 NHL Draft, is coming off a career-best season where he posted 34 goals, 43 assists and a plus-14 rating in 80 games throughout 2018/19.

The Scottsdale, Arizona native will be heading into his fourth NHL season.
