The dangerous respiratory disease has now hit the hockey world.

The Vancouver Canucks confirmed that a full-time employee that works in their offices has tested positive for the coronavirus.

“Earlier today, Canucks Sports & Entertainment staff were updated that a member of our fulltime office staff has tested positive for COVID-19,” said Canucks COO Trent Carroll wrote in a statement.

“The diagnosed individual is receiving care, observing 14-day self-quarantine guidelines and is feeling better.”

The team has also urged any players that have come in contact with this individual in recent days to self quarantine themselves for 14 days.
