We’ve got some sad news to announce from the wrestling world.

Ex-WWE star Jim Neidhart has suddenly passed away at the age of 63. The cause of his death has yet to be determined.

“The only thing bigger than his on-screen character was his heart.” said WWE Executive VP Paul ‘Triple-H’ Levesque.

“Jim ‘The Anvil; Neidhart loved performing with and spending time with his family…and he made us all smile while doing it. Thinking of Natalya, Tyson Kidd & the entire Hart family during this difficult time.”

Neidhart was best known for being a tag-team partner with his brother-in-law and fellow wrestling legend Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart.

He wrestled in the WWE from 1985-1997, and then returned for a second stint from 2007-2017.

He is survived by his three daughters, which included current WWE wrestler Natalya.
